Hello people of Metropolis!

We’ve loved hearing all your thoughts about what’s coming in Episode 2, both in the Developer Updates, and on our X page where we’re showing off several of the new items you’ll be hunting for in the new Episode!

Just a quick update this week as we prepare for the launch of Episode 2 soon, so stay tuned for more info! 

Mastery Level Progression Boost

We hear that some of you are getting pretty damn good at the game now and we want to make sure that you’re playing at a level that provides an appropriate challenge as quick as possible. In that spirit, starting with Episode 2 we are going to rework the way in which new Mastery Levels are unlocked for Incursion missions. The highest Mastery Level you’re allowed to play is based on the average of your 3 highest Mastery Level Incursion missions, with an offset that allows you to go higher than this average (thus allowing for progression). Currently this offset is set at +2 but with the release of Episode 2 this will be raising to +5. This should allow you to progress through Mastery Levels at a much faster rate by effectively skipping more Mastery Levels as you climb, whilst still encouraging playing at least 3 Incursion Missions along the way.
